This Privacy Policy applies to the Herbert Flower trip check-in text messaging program (the “Program”). The Program is operated by Herbert Flower. Program information pages are hosted on goatogrammetry.com under the /herbertflower/ path; Goatogrammetry’s 3D graphics business is separate from this Program.

What this Program does The Program may send SMS messages to family members who have agreed to receive them. Messages may include a pre-trip heads-up and overdue / status alerts when Herb may be late returning from a solo desert trip (for example route, timing, and status details).

Information we collect

Mobile phone numbers of people who opt in to the Program
Opt-in / opt-out status and related consent records
Message delivery and reply metadata needed to run the Program (for example delivery status and keyword replies such as HELP or STOP)
Trip details Herb provides so status messages can be sent (for example planned area, timing, and location descriptors)

How we use information We use this information only to operate the Program: enroll contacts who consent, send Program messages, respond to HELP / STOP, and keep records needed for consent and deliverability.

SMS opt-in data We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Carriers and messaging providers (such as Twilio) may process messages and related metadata as needed to deliver texts.

Sharing We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help run messaging (for example SMS infrastructure), or when required by law, or if needed to protect someone’s safety in an emergency situation related to an overdue check-in.

Message frequency and rates Program messaging is infrequent — up to about 1 message per week. Message and data rates may apply.
